Once upon a time the subway network hadn't been extended to Danderyd Municipality. Several regional bus lines terminated in the inner city, contributing to the daily traffic jam known as rush hour. Nowadays there's a major bus terminal by Danderyd University Hospital and many lines terminate right here, above the subway station.
