Nice composition, with perfect color... The crucifix is willingly naïve but not bad...
Certainly naïve, even a bit controversial in its day. This church will turn 50 next year and was considered provocatively modern when it was built.
I guessed about right, that's the controversial that sometimes become soon demodé, and this may be the reason I like it...
A bit of gambling really, going forward with a controversial design and calculating that in time it will become accepted and even loved. In this case, I'd say they calculated correctly.
