Building a railroad in the somewhat rough terrain of Lidingö did require a bit of digging and blasting. Almost looks like busy trams on Lidingöbanan have carved a ravine here at Baggeby.

That's some kind of work! It must be strange to ride facing a wall of rock...
And like so many other major construction works, it took place long before modern machines - or indeed computer systems! - were available.
I thought it was a modern cut, hats off for the diggers!
