Settling down where there's a good supply of water seems like an excellent idea - for trees as well as for the rest of us.

A lucky seed this one, few years ago!
Water certainly has a magical effect on photographs (well, except in the physical sense, of course) - water is always beautiful.
Trees too.

Once in a while at springtime there is even too much of a good thing around these trees but they seem to live and prosper in spite of the occasional flooding.

I even hear chainsaws in the middle of a symphony these days. Clearly a postmodern, post-garden trauma...
