carsharing in luma

Being a car owner can be a real pain for those living in the city. (And the rest of us are beginning to think likewise.) Not surprisingly, the concept of carsharing is gaining momentum in Stockholm. You pay a fixed monthly fee to be an authorized customer, book your vehicle over the Internet, pick it up and leave it at fixed locations.

The concept car sharing gives a touch of collective living popular by groups of left radicals, velor hippies or what ever movement from the 60th and 70th. Compared with rental cars is this a method t give your money to someone else with gaining any benefit i.e., in the car sharing system you need to book your drive in advance without a guarantee as you do when you rent a drive or call a taxi. The difference is that when renting or calling a cab you can choose whatever company available for the moment. Rental cars and taxis is of course available for those who pay a regular fee to the car sharing company but what is then the meaning to do that, if you don't run your own charity movement and likes collective idea sharing every thing.

Merry Christmas to you all!

Well, that's certainly a different viewpoint. Given the price level for an average flat in Hammarby Sjöstad, I'd be surprised to find high concentrations of left radicals, velour hippies or similar movements around that part of town - but who knows? ;) This particular movement appears to be growing and it'll be interesting to see if it takes off even more. Time will tell.

...and a Merry Christmas to you as well!
