Springtime Stockholm, part 4 (5)

On springdays like these Stockholmers can be resembled to a lemming migration when they in hoards head out to one of Stockholm's major waterholes at Djurgården. Namely Rosendals Gardens.

Not only can you have something delicious to eat at the well-renowned café - but be there early since the place tends to get really crowded on sunny days - you can pick your own flowers, buy something nice in the lovely stocked shop, even attend different classes and lectures in gardening, cooking, baking and herbs. The place is also available for rent to private parties.

Whether you chose to have a coffee and cake indoors in the greenhouse, outdoors in the designated eating area or go picnic style on the vast stretching lawns, the place is very much worth a visit. And even if you can be pretty sure you're not the only one heading there it's also usually possible to create your own little oasis in midst of it all. Breath in, breath out, relax.

It looks like a great day to be out in the sun. It's a bit cold down here in Tassie today, so these pictures help warm me up!

Oh yes it was, Kris, but to be honest ever since that day it's been rather cold here too:( Whatever happened to spring?

Thanks, Per!
