to readers, guest photographers and co-authors, thanks for sharing plenty with us!

Could have been the last picture from this lens. I foolishly left the camera on top of a road sign in Bredden and realized too late that the bus would sweep by at a few centimetres’ distance.

Whopsie Daisy! I like this one. The bus is so close that if you didn't know it was a bus you'd wonder.
I think some of my best photos are mishaps. This one for instance is a personal favourite ('Fibonacci Sequence 1-55' by Mario Merz, Åbo, Finland).
What did you do when the bus came? Take a dive into the bush?
I was aiming for that bus all along but it really got too close (to my camera) for comfort. You’re right, failed photos can be hilarious. Here’s my personal favourite.
Great! As I can understand the Swedish text this is close - at least kin - to camera tossing: "A particular form of kinetic photography, the camera must be airborne and unobstructed by the photographer or other means." (Flicr: Camera Toss).
A gorrilapod would have been nice in this situation.....
Nah. Too big for that pocket! ;)
